Preparations for this weekend’s peace conference in Nidwalden are in full swing. Locals say they’ve seen US Air Force chinook helicopters flying above the Bürgenstock resort.
Planes from other Air Forces are at Zurich airport, including Portugal and Egypt – but the defence department is not releasing any information about security.
The Cyber Security Centre says there have been various cyber attacks on government websites involved in the conference – and they expect more.
But they’ve only led to minor problems so far.
Over 90 countries and organisations are meeting to mainly discuss the situation in Ukraine – but the Swiss foreign affairs ministry says there will be other topics on the agenda.
