A teenage motorcyclist has been killed and another is in a critical condition after a violent collision in Vernier.
The accident was on Wednesday evening. Police say the 16 year old was turning toward the village of Vernier, struck another motorcyclist, aged 18, who was traveling toward the Croisette crossroads.
Despite rapid intervention, the younger driver died at the scene.
The second victim was rushed to hospital.
Prosecutors have opened an investigation. This marks the fifth road fatality in Geneva this year.
