The Alps are still snow free in many places and high altitude passes remain open. Normally, many would have been closed by now.
This weekend was around 3 degrees warmer on average over the past 30 years.
The forecaster Meteonews says the 25-degree mark was broken at three different reporting stations on Saturday.
But the outlook for November is far more normal.
