A lone wolf was spotted in the middle of the town of Thun in canton Bern over the weekend.
The animal was walking on the streets on Saturday night – there were several witnesses and it was caught on video.
Canton Bern’s Hunting Inspectorate say it believes it was migratory animal, probably a young male, and it would have left the urban environment already.
It said it studied the video and the wolf seems uncomfortable in the town.
