UEFA has announced that Stéphanie Frappart will officiate the Women's European Championship final between England and Spain in Basel on Sunday.
The 41-year-old Frenchwoman has been a FIFA referee since 2011 and has officiated in two group matches in Switzerland, as well as the quarterfinal between Norway and Italy.
In 2020, Frappart became the first woman to officiate a men's Champions League match, and in 2022, she made her debut at the Men's World Cup in Qatar, in the group match between Germany and Costa Rica.
She's considered to be the world's most famous female referee.
