The latest coronavirus variant is spreading fast in Switzerland. Known officially as JN.1, it's being called Juno.
It was first detected here in October last year – but cases have climbed rapidly and fragments of the virus are being detected in waste water analysis.
Juno accounts for around 70% of all new infections, according to the Federal Health Office.
Data from the United Kingdom, which is also suffering a major Juno wave, suggests symptoms are slightly different – including anxiety, sleep problems and diarrhoea.
But virologists say there are no signs Juno is causing more severe cases and the vaccine seems to be having a positive effect.
