Possible new district in Geneva

Geneva has opened a consultation on a plan for a new district which will have 900 homes as well as schools, shops and restaurants and a care home.

It will be along autoroute, Palexpo and the Route de Ferney in Grand Saconnex, covering 15 hectares.

The space has some limited business and housing at the moment, but also a large field. 

The planned new tram to Ferney will serve the area.

It’s the new district will be open from 2030.
