In Switzerland, fare evasion tops the list of petty crimes, with 40% admitting to traveling on public transport without a ticket.
A survey by moneyland.ch shows that young adults aged 18 to 25 are the most frequent offenders.
The study also found that 20% have stolen from restaurants and 25% from supermarkets.
Workplace theft is also common, with 29% admitting to it.
Interestingly, French-speaking Swiss appear more honest than their German-speaking counterparts.
Gender differences were noted too - men admit to more theft in nearly every category.
